We flew out on Sunday, January 16th for a few fun days to enjoy Las Vegas.  I've been to Las Vegas many, many times and it was Genia and Genia's mom Svetlana first time.  We stayed at the Aria Resort Hotel, which had many Chinese New Year celebration displays everywhere as did most hotels, which made for a a beautiful and festive feeling that was more than the ordinary feel of Las Vegas.  Like most trips, we rented a car and realized afterwards travelling around town was easily done using Uber, but the car did come in handy when going to Hover Dam.  One of the highlights of the trip was seeing the Cirque Du Soleil's Ka

Unfortunately, masks because of COVID were still in effect in some places, but not all.  There was a general feel that if anyone wasn't wearing their mask then nobody cared.
