This army guard was only allowing tourists to exit from the east side of Great Wall as Philippine President was coming from that direction.  The funny thing about this picture was I was able to walk around him, stand next to him, ask Dan to take a picture with no problems.  Once he noticed that he was going to be in a picture he puts his eyes down.  After the picture, I asked Dan to come next to him so that I could get a picture with him in it, but the guard then proceeded to threaten Dan and told him to leave the other way.
