Las Vegas Security
Convention
Friday April 8 & Saturday April 9, 2011
Me and two good friends, Tommy Trest and Mark Butler went to Las Vegas to attend the last day of a Security Convention Expo to develop contacts with Asian manufacturers of Security equipment, specifically automated video recordings for vehicles. We stayed at the Hilton off of the strip and road the new monorail to get around along with renting a car for the two nights and two days while we were there.
On Friday, we spent most of the day at the show. Friday evening we walked down the Strip enjoying the ambience along with driving down to Fremont to see the Freemont Experience. If you have never been to the Fremont Experience, it is worth the trip because of the live bands and three block electronic video canopy which covers the entire walk. Unfortunately, because it was night time along with the lighting, I did not get any pictures but included a public photo off the web for you to see what it is like. Throughout the trip, the weather was very nice and cool.
